Visiting an Emporium Vintage & Craft Fair in Portsmouth

girl with mirror in handWhat better way to spend a Sunday than browsing the treasures of yesterday at a vintage fair or admiring the skills of local artisan crafters?

Sit down with a cup of tea from our Vintage Tea-rooms and enjoy Katie Rogers of Jazz & Cocktails singing live for your entertainment.

Here in Portsmouth, we have combined all this to bring you the Emporium Vintage & Craft Fairs. You’ll find a wealth of stalls and treasures to browse at your leisure. Whether you’re looking for that special something for yourself or for a gift, or just enjoy a good window-shop, you’ll find your visit to the Emporium Vintage & Craft Fair, held at the Inn Lodge Hotel (Burrfields Road, Portsmouth), a rewarding experience.

The Emporium Vintage & Craft Fair is open to the public from 11am to 3.30pm. Admission is just £1.00 per adult with no charge for accompanied children under the age of 14. You’ll find the dates of the forthcoming fairs here.

What stalls will you find?

At the Emporium Fairs, stalls are carefully selected to ensure you have a great selection of different vintage goods and crafts to choose from. From vintage clothing and yesterday’s treasures to vintage china and shabby chic, there will be plenty to keep your interest at Portsmouth’s Emporium Vintage & Craft Fair.

Children welcome – a day out for all the family

child in vintage caseWell-behaved children are welcomed at the Emporium Vintage & Craft Fair and we’re sure there will be plenty to interest the younger members of your family too. This is why there is no admittance fee for accompanied children under the age of 14.

But we do ask, for their safety, that you keep your children with you and don’t let them roam unsupervised. Many of the crafts and vintage goods on sale are fragile and precious. While they might be very tempting to little fingers, we would hate any accidents to spoil your day.

The Farmhouse, which adjoins the Inn Lodge, has a children’s play area, so when you’ve finished browsing in the fair, the children can enjoy themselves while you relax with a drink in the bar or enjoy lunch from the Farmhouse carvery.

The venue – Inn Lodge Hotel, Burrfields Road, Portsmouth

The Emporium Vintage & Craft Fairs are held at the Inn Lodge Hotel (co-joins the Farmhouse pub and restaurant) in Burrfields Road Portsmouth. Parking is free in the large car park. The Inn Lodge is easily accessed from the M275, the A27 and A3M via the Eastern Road.

The Farmhouse, next door to the Inn Lodge, is a ‘Hungry Horse’ eatery serving food and drinks all day. The pub is reknowned for its Sunday carvery which is served from 12 noon onwards. You can combine your trip to the fair with a slap-up lunch at the Farmhouse carvery.

Why not put the Emporium Vintage & Craft Fair dates in your diary right now? We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
